Join us on the Second Sunday of the month for music in the café with Hassan El-Tayyab, bandleader of the DC-based blues-Americana group, American Nomad. Hassan is an author and award-winning singer-songwriter. Honesty, vulnerability, and vivid storytelling are hallmarks of El-Tayyab's music, which draws inspiration from the spirit of travel and authentic life experience. El-Tayyab has received national recognition for his original music, including as a finalist at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Rocky Mountain Folk Festival songwriter competitions.
