Fair Trade Gifts
Help Palestinians by buying
Palestinian Olive Oil and Olive Oil Soap
Zatoun Olive Oil and Soap
People are driving from as far as Charlottesville, VA to buy our Certified Fair Trade Palestinian Olive Oil and Olive Oil soap from the organization called, Zatoun (Arabic word for olive). Zatoun is the trade name for the Canadian registered non-profit, Palestinian Peace Awareness. They have partnered with Project Hope, bringing healing to Palestinian youth, and Trees for Life, helping farmers recover from the olive tree crop damage done by Israeli settlers. Zatoun wants everyone who hears about their products to learn about the current plight of Palestinians. Robert Mossoud of Zatoun sent us 4 times as many brochures on Zatoun and their hopeful activities in Palestine than bottles of olive oil! Zatoun has an educational DVD about the current state of Palestine and suggests people organize parties around this DVD and their products. Please consider buying a few bottles for gifts, or buying case of 12 bottles for a Palestinan awareness salon. Each 750mL bottle is $ 17.50 and each bar of soap is $5.00.
